Nice Jerry - couple of quick ones:

Whats the thing hanging off the LH side above the chin?

Are you doing the coil relocation? (asked as I have a 3" tank rise as well, but I am going to fill that space with a custom made air dam - watch this space).

    Hey bud, thanks.

I think you may be talking about the oil cooler? Its a HD part, also there is the K&P lifetime oil filter to help cooling as well. I did lift the tank for looks initially, but now I do want to look at relocating the wiring and coils, depending on what is involved. I have only just found the forum, so hopefully there may be some info on here :)

I don't appear to have an oil cooler - mine must be a crappy bike.

Relocation kits readily available and lots of advice on the forums. As mentioned, I'm designing some sort of air dam to fill that space so I won't have to faff around with the wires etc. will post when done.

Jerry, top looking bike mate! well done. not sure if you are aware but the rear indicators/tail light standoff are available in shorter lengths, the softail ones, and fatbob ones are shorter again. For a coil and ignition relocation kit you can't go past DK Customs. Also any detail on your seat???

Haha, I've done the same thing time and time again. Wasted an absolute fortune on fuckups, definitely one of the more painful parts of owning a bike. That being said its also great fun!
