    Hey smokeweazel, the clip-ons are actually really comfortable with the forward control setup.
    I haven't been able to go for a long ride yet, but so far they are awesome.

    The bars are actually 'RSD's that I ordered from 'Rollies Speed Shop'. But yes you can order clip-ons from 'JM', I was originally going to but they were out of stock.

     Like it - am about to launch into similar (big radius 2 / drag bars / Arlen Ness double barrel (hope) / bobber seat.  Am also looking at custome front spoiler (chin).

    great looking bike you have there.

    Here are some updated pics the old girl after chopping the rear fender struts, installing the bobbed rear guard, Rizoma VROD license plate mount and 10' rigid struts. The Rizoma mount may not be to everyone's taste but she's legal and visible so I'm happy with the way it turned out. The struts are an interesting ride, not as rough as you would expect but I've softened the blow by putting 3' seat springs in

     Hey that's a fine looking bike.  I have to say I didn't really get excited about tank lifts till seeing this bike.  Everything seems in proportion (IMHO), and the rear plate is trick, would personally love to have the side mount like they do in the USA but I don't want to attract attention from the fuzz, you have a good solution there.

    Also the chrome wheels with the white wall tyres are outstanding.  Love the look of the front set up.

    Well done mate!

    Cheers

     Hey man, May i ask where you got the rear fender from? It has a good style to it. My rear is shorter than that i think ( post some pics soon), Your's looks like it might be more "officer friendly" ? Cheers man..Robbo in Bris.

    @883n Harley convert:

    Nice work! I wasn't sure how spoked wheels would go on an Iron, but it's a great look - the white walls is what seals it, I think.

    Have you considered risers at all? I'm looking at getting drag bars for mine, on 5" risers. I was also thinking of the tank lift, and seeing the look of yours, I reckon it'll be pretty near to perfect with the bars just that bit higher.

    You've nailed the rear as well. Did you have to cut the fender supports back yourself, or did you get someone to do it for you? Is it do-able for anyone who can operate a grinder, or is it better to get someone who does this sort of thing more often?

    I'm thinking Bassani sweepers (or similar) for mine, but I do have a soft spot for the V&H shorties. I was thinking of something in black for my bike, but I think you've got the black/white/chrome balance pretty much spot on.
