Hey all i'm Russ from Brisbane . .i've been working on a 77 Ironhead basket case project for the past year. Basic rundown is 9.5:1 compression, R5 cams, 2" under 99 FX front end, 2002 fatboy rear Am getting close to finishing up mock up so once i'm done there i'll tear her back down and send bits out for powdercoat and chrome then hopefully it will be a relatively easy assembly. If these pics attach this will show you a quick rundown of things. . .other forums you have to have a certain number of posts up first??. . .not sure if its the same here? . .see if this picture posting method i use works too??
Hello Russ and welcome, good luck with the project, looking good.
Its getting there. .yeh the purple tins are a bit out there. . .but they were done by Little Mick in the early 80's (previous owner said it cost him a fortune!!) and are still in real good shape . . just can't bring myself to wiping them out. The frame etc will all me gloss black powdercoat once i get this mock up complete . .then i have the fun task of building a wiring loom
