I just looked in the organised ride section and noticed the pics.Hopefully for your sake the bike is written off.No matter how well repairs are done, they never seem the same.

I also like the street glide,a Roadking with batwing fairing and Hard bags, which are the only drawback, can't fit as much in hardbags !!!!

Guess you will have to give your wife all the tender loving care she deserves and you need

You want to tell them you want replacement transport seeing that it is going to take so long.As for the delay because of paint, what a crock of shit. They will have it stripped down in the beginning,so it can be sent away and any of the tins done while they are fiddling around.Only delay would be painting the frame, and that could be done in one day.Must be those parts that Harley put on the slow boat that take 6 weeks to get here when an individual can get them here in 1 week.At least you can practice cramming yourself on the wifes sporty.Who knows,if you do that enough times,it might open a new career as one of those clowns in the circus that they cram into those tiny cars.

Glad to see that you managed to make it back in one piece rkc,and as long as the issues were noted before you left Mexico,I am sure they will be able to be rectified

Good to see you have the pride and joy back rkc, but this whole repair story is a bit of an eye opener. I would have thought that the attention to detail would have been much more professional. I would have been fuming with the treatment you received and would be writing letters of complaint higher up, and also mentioning that you are discussing this on a Forum. Bloody not good enough.....TC

Quick question if you don't mind rkc, what brand/type of bag is on the rear carrier? We have been looking for something similar to stick on the back rack as well. Have looked at the HD catalogue items and other brands, but haven't made up my mind yet. Have been using a large camera bag so far but it doesn't have the side pockets........cheers TC

I got the bag of ebay from a seller called Jafrum.

Thanks rkc, I think I stumbled accross the same bag on Ebay last night, looks the same, and the price was similar.

    Cheers TC
