+1 Skull. It is sad to see a loss of life so young and so public. What happened to the old days of fixing up things out of sight? These radical clubs need to be stopped so that we all don't get tard with the same brush, and the police do start to hassle Harley riders, as it has happened to me. I wasn't even riding my bike at the time, i was stopped. Lets hope things get better from now on.

I seem to be a little confused here in regard to the above post.I will have to  go back over previous information posts on this forum.I thought the party did orginate in SA. I thought its main aim was to oppose legislation brought in by the SA government to gain control of certain clubs, by declaring them criminal organisations.  At this point I would like to say that I agree this is scary piece of legislation and should be opposed. I thought  SA was where the big ride took place in support of  this party. Did not see any drag race or hot rod, sporting clubs join the protest ride. This partys agenda is set by outlaw MCs , the way I see it. as for public support, lets see, Silverwater Bike show gun shots, Hells Angels club house blown apart, Auburn houses sprayed with gun fire, and of course the murder at the airport. Public support. I dont think so.

    Bano,

Interesting interview this morning on 2GB.  The guy being interviewed (wrote his name down at work) had done years of work on organised crime (not specifically bike related).  What he did say that caught my ear, was that the current laws in SA were introduced in WA after the blow up over there in 2005.  When those laws, 27 of them were challenged in the high court 25 of them were rejected as they were unconstitutional.  Those 25 'unconstitutional' laws have since been replicated in SA and if they were challenged the same thing would happen

Good point . But sureley they have got to realise that if the current behavior does not stop there will be these unfair and harsh laws imposed on us for sure. I know the issue is our rights as an Australian to associate with who ever we choose. But it is us who will suffer because of the outlaw MCs cant behave. Why then does this party exist. No bikie truble, no new laws, nothing to oppose, no FREE party. Really the government is reacting to a problem.Push the coppers, they eventually push back. Unfortunatley I think we, as Harley riders, are about to be pushed pretty good. But this is only my opinion.

Cut and pasted thiis from the couriermail news website

THE man killed at Sydney Airport in Sunday's violent bikie gang brawl was wanted over the stabbing of an off-duty police officer, police said.

Anthony Zervas, 29, the brother of a senior Hells Angel member was bludgeoned to death during the brawl allegedly involving members of the Hells Angels and the Comancheros.

Police revealed today that Mr Zervas was being sought for questioning over the stabbing of an off-duty police officer at Brighton-Le-Sands on Friday.

The officer had approached two men, one of whom was allegedly Mr Zervas, who had been trying to enter the front door of an apartment block on The Grande Parade.

"An argument ensued and one of the males produced a knife, stabbing the officer twice in his left arm," police said.

"The officer managed to shut the glass door before the male with the knife kicked the door, causing the glass to smash."

The two men fled, while the officer sought medical attention and was taken to St George Hospital for treatment.

Yesterday police raided a Brighton-Le-Sands apartment and arrested a 40-year-old man.

He has since been charged with concealing a serious offence, refused bail and is due to face Sydney's Central Local Court today.

"Inquiries to locate a second man who might have been able to assist with inquiries have ceased after the death of a 29-year-old man at Sydney Airport on Sunday," police said.

i dunno bano ... the old saying about lying down with dogs .. the poor fellow may not have had a choice but ... we all know that if you associate with these kind of clubs you are going to get tarred with the same brush .. ad quite frankly that is achoice each makes..... my 2 cent that most of the younger members or associates crave the notoriety that it brings

Drive by shootings...didn't Howard get rid of all the guns...oh of course, i forgot, if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have them. It didn't work Mr Howard, what have we got to protect ourselves now??? sticks and stones.                           I am sure that the media is jumping on the bandwagon with these bikie bashings etc as it is creating news. I wonder if the reporters are getting paid by the pollies to report them so that they can get the new laws passed? I am sure there is more bashings and killings on city and country streets Australia wide that arn't getting reported. It is sad to see the loss of anyone as it effects so many people down the line.
