Well I installed my new 1 1/4" Fat Western today with Internal wiring.  Started at 0730 and finished at about 6000pm tonight non stop.  What prick of a job.  I was worried about the grips giving me grief ha!.  Bloody Molex connections were a pain in the arse along with the Heated wiring for my grips as well.

Now I know why some blokes just drop it off to the dealer to fix.  Although there is a lot of satisfaction knowing when you plug it all together and the electrics work that you have got it right.  I think I will have to get some pull back risers though, 5'8 so not the longest Arms.  That can wait a week or so as I am still getting used to the bars.  Bike looks completely different  to when I had the stack bars on.  Someone posted that the stock bars are gay so it gave me a bit of a complex. Braided cables nest all round and then onto some cams.  I have already decided on Andrews 21H as they will suit my riding style. After that I will have to wait and see.

Jacks when you put on your bars with the risers did you have to change the clutch cables etc. I don't to find out when I have taken everything off that I need longer clutch and throttle cables as well. I have the stock length on at the moment and was looking at the length yesterday and I think it may not be long enough. If I know before I start I can get the stuff before hand.

I ended up making a tool to suit the job. It is good working with Electrical Technicians. It was still a pain in the arse though. And Scott I will be asking to rent a couple of tools when I come to do my cams. Also might seek some of your bottomless wisdom on choice etc.
