How could your dealer discover the problem ?? I assume you rode the bike to the dealer and if the bike was running are you sure the dealer didn't cause the problem ?? How and why did he discover it ??

The last thing you say in the Flat Battery thread is that you plugged in the standard ECM and everything was ok, so if that happened before you went to the dealer then something else must have happened to short the Thundermax out before that ???? If the dealer did change the Thundermax then you will probably never know, depends on whether they let a 16 year old kid change it . Yet another good argument for working on your own bike, even if you have to take your time and ask lots of questions of this Forum until you get the answers.
