Please note:

Regarding the incident reported today as an ex-president of the Gypsy 
Jokers was charged with offences against a former Hell's Angel.
 
After making enquiries, I have been informed of these facts by members 
of the Gypsy-Jokers.

1. This person is known to the Gypsy-Jokers.
2. He was never president.
3. He was kicked out of the Gypsy-Jokers for drug abuse, as they believe 
was the ex member of the Hells Angels.
4. The particular drug that he was using which resulted in being kicked 
out was Ice.
 
Furthermore, the Gypsy Jokers have a very strong anti-drug abuse "code 
of ethics" and do not tolerate personal use, dealing or supporting, 
which is why he was kicked out of the club about 12 months ago, almost 
to the day.  The have reason to believe the same or similar situation in 
the case of the other person other than the particular time frame. I am 
also told that the other club that has been mentioned has similar 
philosophies on such matters.
 
 
It is a sensationalist media report without being in full knowledge of 
the facts, hence allowing the Premier to make and support his claims and 
to maintain his fear campaign on the public of SA.  The SAPOL "intel" on 
such things, if that was the government's and the media's report source, 
were grossly inaccurate and sensationally exaggerated innuendo refarding 
tacit bike club knowledge or support, to support their stance on these 
draconian laws.  It is one of the very reasons that FREE opposes the use 
of Secret Files and Secret Evidence that cannot be cross-examined in 
court, amongst other things.

Should I obtain further information I will forward it as it comes to hand.

Yeah I thought the media was probably drawing a long bow on this one. Thanks for the TRUTH

Hey Guys. You ought to know by now that the Press isn't interested in the truth. It's bad for business and doesn't sell papers, or in the case of TV, generally doesn't have the Wow factor. If you are going to spend all your time forever trying to explain & respond to articles like that, well, your going to be on the back foot all the time. (For example: what headline do you reckon gets published (a) OWTLAW BIKERS SHOOT IT OUT ENDANGERING PUBLIC or (b) Two men fire shots at each other. It was thought that they were at one time members of Owtlaw Bikie Gangs.

Remember, one of the ways to beat mis-information, is with more mis-information. In other words, learn how to play politics, (Play The Game) because that is what they are doing to you. It wouldn't be easy, as you are starting virtually from scratch (ie FREE), and THEY already have the greased palms reaching out for more misinformation to feed to the public, who unfortunately, usually believe everything they read. Why do you think that the first people to be friended by polititians, MP's, etc, are Media Owners & some Journalists.

With Polititians, in the vast majority of cases, it's all about EGO & MONEY. Now folks, that is a very powerful aphridisiac, which can, in some instances, get one into situations that they would probably not normally get into. So, now is the time to start digging the info (some would call it dirt). Most people "know people" that "know people", so now is the time to call in favours, act responsibly & in a professional manner, (that alone should shock a few... who would believe that bikers could act professionaly)...  HANG ON... JUST HAD ANOTHER QUAKE...  If we start talking sense without reacting by going off our noggins, you just never know who might listen. Good luck guys
