    Hey guys

lookin at puttin mags on my bike, mainly worried about the front one at the moment cause the rust is takin over my spokes :-(.

buy what to choose, i dont want to spend over 2k for the front, but bein female i am pretty picky about the looks.

i really like the poished and black look.

i was lookin at PM wheels and RC components, but not sure of the price tags, and if you can get better than the $2,200 i saw.

not sure what other mags there are available that come in black and polished.

    any suggestions greatly appreciated

    Charls

If you are worried about your spokes rusting you can get stainless steel spokes which will stop that problem.

Otherwise i quite like some of the PM wheels.Try going onto www.hogpro.com and you will see lots of different style wheels and look at the galleries which show pics on bikes.

    Good luck with it.

Go to mom and pops website www.mandmcycles.com and Mark will send you whatever exhaust you want to Oz. Great prices too.

    hey fuzzbutt,

check out morepowerracing.com they sent me an email a couple of weeks ago as they are having a sale at the moment, like everyone in the US. I bought some V & H big radius of them last year and delivered to perth price was about $540 us and it only took 7 days.

I went through the same drama; you can pay alot of money in Oz and get a great product (Dragway & PM).
Or risk it and by from USA.
I managed to get a set of black powdercoated wheels for my 2001 softail, and had a choice of Stainless, twisted chrome or painted spokes, from a fella in Chicago.
I got a pair for $940AU delivered to Perth, and they are great. The fella was very helpful.
The US postal service have an issue with sending a 21" wheel in a box, so he sent my front wheel in 2 boxes, and I got a local in Perth to respoke & balance the wheel ($90.00).
I got all the gear in 14days. If your interested I can try & dig out his ebay I.D.
Anyway by a set that YOU like!
Chrome spokes are a pain, as rust can grow quickly!
    Cheers Sid

hey guys thanks for the suggestions.
the mags i like really wont go with the rest of my bike so i have decided to get stainless spokes, cheaper and easier.
the 1st wheel i had the spokes didnt rust in over 1 1/2 years and i didnt even give them a proper clean, but this wheel is only a couple monthes old.
same thing happened to my mum when she got a new front wheel (a month or 2 before me) i am wondering if the chroming has been made cheaper or by someone else or something to be worse.
    thnaks for your time
