    So i'm looking for a pair of sunnies for riding and came across the Wiley X range.  Like the look of the top jimmies, i was just wondering about the light adjusting lenses.  I've heard reports that there not dark enough in the sun.  Anyone confirm or justify this? If they are might just go the smoked lenses.

    Cheers RT, ended up going the Polarised with the Matte Black Frames, not a big fan of glossy.

    After a ton of pairs I got some Top Jimmies Wiley X (not light adjusting lens) and they're brilliant compaired to all the others I've had. My main beef was with wind getting in and making me tear up. The WileyX TJs let just a small amount of air in to stop fogging, but not enough to kill your eyes - the foam padding is a must and craps all over the vinyl, plasticy foam of most sunnies.

    Soon I'm going to grab a pair of fuglies and see how they stack up and if I ever see them cheap enough I'll grab a set of Advancers. I collect sunnies like women collect shoes :P

    Sweet, i just hope they fit my face properly. I've alwayz worn Arnette Swingers, but they just don't hold up on the bike.

    Previous I had mirrored aviators, no better look but a pain in the ass with wind getting in at the sides, tears, and them going loose on headcheck.

    Got a two-pair deal of Choppers brand glasses with foam pads, and removable straps late last year, from Ebay (local seller) costing about $25 for both. A mirrored and clear pair for night n day and haven't looked back since.

    I agree with Noit, used to have yellow lensed cheapies ala Jeff Jarrett the pro-wrestler and they were great at night and did the trick by day too.

    The best glasses for riding in my opinion are Wiley X Viper, which had the harder type foam material. With my strap attached, very liitle wind/dust gets in. I bought the Bobster (crap), and Eliminiator (crap). Ideally, try them on first, and see whether the foam/gasket seals right around. I, unfortunately lost my glasses at Frasers, someones picked them up thinking...WOW, free sunlgasses, (worthless to them as I am shortsighted). I have since bought Wiley X Blink, $149 plus $150 for my lenses. Work Ok, I can see the soft foam wearing out in no time, and they do not seal as well as the Viper with the harder foam.

    Wiley's are awsome and the lenses are very durable.

    Just make sure you;

    1>> Get one that fit's perfectly / foam is filling all gaps around cheekbones etc.

    2>> Don't be a cheaparse, get the transition lenses. They are great.

    I took delivery of a set of SG-1's today and love them. Thanks gmeikle.
    There is a slight movement of air around the eye at any speed and they feel really good.
    Highly recommend
