Removed and fitted my rear wheel with a SE180 tyre and wide tyre kit, everything went smoothly for a change. Unfortunatley I wanted to bleed the rear brake also and have rounded the fucking bleed nipple. It should be a 3/8" but my 3/8" spanner fiited with a little slack and the nipple is done up too hard obviously and shit a brick I rounded the poofta. Anyone done the same and found a way to remove it??. Was thinking of vice-grips but am afraid of shearing the nipple off and leaving a gaping hole I checked the front and a 3/8" is definately not a snug fit. Am going to fit a speedbleeder but need to get the old one out first.
Nah, definately a 3/8', but a good quality 3/8" is required. My sidchrome 3/8" socket fits snugly but it's too late for that, the cheap 3/8" open ender that I used is what done the job (in my hand of course).
Thanks for the tips, Scotty you were spot on, got a set of vice grips and they worked a treat. $18 for the vice-grips and $17 for a sidchrome 3/8" ringy. Could have been a lot more expensive though.
