Well I had the impression lately that the site had slowed down over the last few weeks, I'm not actively advertising it any more and I thought usage had dropped off. I'm glad to say I was wrong, checking the stats for the last month the site has grown with 10,000 visits a month from 2,700 unique visitors and best of all growth for the site has been a constand 20% per month which means it will continue to grow. The number of posters has remained pretty steady so what it means is that there's heaps of people out there reading the stuff that we write.
Best of all is the number of rides that are being organised and undertaken by members of the site these have been a great success and should only get better.
Thanks to all the regular posters and readers of the site who's efforts continue to make this site a success!
Thanks also to all those who've bought t-shirts, they number about 43 which is fantastic.
Cheers, Kingchops
All Good
It's been a pleasure and a privilage to be involved.
For someone like me who is isolated from the real world due to remoteness, I've learnt, laughed, wondered, envied and above all respected others opinions from others posts.
Unfortunately for me, again due to my remote locatation, this is my lot. Not that I'm complaining.
To all involved keep up the good work, especially you Mr Chops without your effort it wouldn't be happening.
The next time I venture to SA on a rellie run I'll be sure to catch up.
Thanks for the site KC. I am in the same position as Chris, Scorp and propably few others, first HD, mechanically challenged and so on. What I've learned in this site I already applied to my bike (Took reflective things off, changed air filter and pipes and so on). The wealth of knowledge is amazing, jokes are great (I pissed myself loughing several times) and I thank every one for their contribution.
Stay safe
Well done KC,
I am really enjoying my membership to the Foum couldnt have come at better time!
Although some of us are so far apart you really get to know and make contact with fellow Harley Riders across the country which otherwise would not have been possible without the Forum.
And it certainly makes the day at work go quicker while thinking about the next ride.
Keep up the good work mate.
RISKY
I am still waiting for my two HD Forum T-shirts. When they arrive one is going to Poland.
I e-mailed this site to all my friends in Poland - the only problem is none of them speak bloody English so I doubt they would frequent this site but you never know - miracles do happen.
Great site KC. WA is the best
I had a choice between buying another Harley and taking the family on a once in a lifetime holiday - so I did the righty and booked the holiday.
Sometimes its hard being a family man.
Hey Nobody.
I do not agree with you mate. I was faced by the same dillema and I took my family on a trip around the World (South America, Europe and SE Asia). We had great time, kids knowledge about the World is much greater and they appreciate Australia more.
I bought HD two years later than I woul had I not gone on the trip. Family is still together.
Give it time ......Give it time
