Going by Fangio's recent post about the Nabiac bike museum I am interested to know who wants to tarvel up there ..sounds like an interesting place to visit

Checked the whereis map and it says quickest way without tolls is a distance of  359 K's from Wollongong and roughly 4 hrs

So going by this it could be done in a day, long day, but could be done.

Leave time would be say 7am Wollongong, pick up riders on the way and just hurtle up the freeways ..spend an hour or two at the museum, have some lunch then head back

Anyone interested ..got no problems doing it myself, but would be more fun with a few other riders.

Then again it could also be turned into an overniter??

its 1 town before taree, used to take the chook chasers up there, good pub, been done up since i was there, you'll need atleast 2 hours if u wanna good look at the musuem.

Hi people, i dont get on here as much as i would like due to being a truckie (too busy terrorising fuckwit car drivers lol). Never much at home, but i would be keen to join this ride depending on work. Would try really hard to get my boss to let me have the time off.
I live just north of Lake Macquarie, so would be easy to meet u all somewhere local. As long as u all dont mind riding with a Scottish person who has been here for 20 years and still has the accent. (we scots r that tight we hang on to every thing we have lol).
I have never went on a ride with anyone from this forum before, which is something i want to rectify asap.Problem is my job, but hey i wouldnt have a Harley if i didnt do what i do.Could even talk a couple of fellow Hog owner mates to maybe go to.
Promise i wont ride there with my kilt on !! lol

I know from experience what its like at holiday time on this road, full of impatient clowns trying to reach their destination and dont give a fuck how they do it

I got fuckn nabbed on sunday arvo up at Newcastle beach 2 bmw cop bikes and a highway patrol hiding behind a line of parked cars halfway up the hill towards king edward park. I turned left at Newcastle cop shop first gear then second, bang this fuckn little blue cockroach jumps out in front of me,directs me to the left .3 of them str8 to my pipes(S&S slash cut slip ons) after a few minutes they tell me the pipes r illegal, they should only b used for closed circuit events, told me to go home and take them off, and gave me a ticket for exhaust system not comply $200 fine but i dont know if ill lose any demerit points.Anyone know? Im pissed off.

Dont know what to do now,have always had a bike both here and back in Scotland, but this is my first Harley,ive had it a year now, first time ive had trouble with the cops on a noise issue. Fuck i cant go putting tha stock Harley pipes back on, it would fukn depress me. Advice anyone? have any of u had the same grief?

Yeah Flan im hearin u,but they looked under my pipes and read the sticker to me sayin to be used for closed circuit events only. What fukn shits me is, i bought the pipes from Frasers Newcastle and they fitted them after my first service, telling me my bike would breathe better and run better with the S&S pipes. Now i find out that they r illegal after buying the pipes and im wearing a $200 fine.
Iwould luv to challenge it in court, but when they state the sticker on my pipes, i dont think i stand a chance?
