Home on my last break putting quietly through the main drag in Mission Beach (so as not to upset the tourists or the local copper) and two blokes on V Rods all decked out in 'Race Leathers' heading the other way - Gave em a wave & nod , both ignored the wave and dropped down a gear and 'blasted' through the 50k zone at 80k - Pure dumb arrogence!

Besides at 80k you miss to many of the 'Barely Clad' Backpackers!    

if you go out and dont expect a wave you wont be upset when you dont get one.........

I givem a wave even when I am driving my car, if I see one on the side of the road I always pull over and make sure they are ok.

I usually wave to all bike regardless, reply is about 50%, but then again it's easier to wave on cruise control.

I like it when you spot a bloke in a car who is obviously into bikes. They look and wave and sometimes have the window down a bit so they can hear the bike.
Well I do that when I'm in a car.................lol.

The other day I saw a car from NSW and it had a sticker on the back window that said something like, "Bike Aware Driver". Sounds like a good idea.

I am slowly phasing my nodding down to other riders with open or 3/4 helmets. The power rangers just don't get it. Too busy crapping themselves on the corners to break concentration I guess.

out in the open road , ill nod or wave to any bike , bar scooters or trail bikes ... in the city it all changes .. riders too much into themselves. besides , i have to admit, when on the honda commuting i am going to fast to do much else.....

He must've been a disgruntled employee and had given notice
