Hi everyone....i need some urgent help!

I've just re-built my Deuce, with custom frame .....everything has been approved so far, except for one last detail.......Queensland Transport are insisting on me providing them with Brake Test results, to be granted Final Approval.

From what i understand, they don't just want the standard deceleration tests (from 100kph & 50kph)....they also want Fade Test results.

ALL the braking equipment is standard Harley Davidson, right down to the last nut and bolt, so i can't understand why they want this.....but QT being what they are, i can't get any further ahead without these results !

Can any of you provide me with these results, from a similar bike......or at least advise where i can try to get them from? I live in Brisbane.

not sure about QLD, but in NSW they will accept the HD brakes on an abridged test for a similar size/ weight/ power vehicle to the original bike the components came from.

The abridged test is predominently the deceleration tests etc but the full test takes a lot more to get done.

Suggest talking to your engineer or get in with the tech inspector at the QT for a better interpretation.
