Over last weekend visited bike museum at Nabiac. Man they had over 400 odd bikes, ranging from well known brands and some that I never knew existed. Great for the bike enthusiast or just for a look. People running the place were tops, we stayed in a house on museum property, $60 for two of us, and left our bikes in the museum overnight.

Had an excellent run over 900 k’s covered, went up the long way and expressways home. Overall a top trip. And yeah Nabiac pub was pretty good...then again I don’t remember.

Yeah. Great museum. We dropped in about 3 months ago. LOTS of bikes. Apart from the really old stuff, the Oz bike scene from the 60s, 70s and 80s is well represented.

The thing I really liked was that they had examples of MY first bike and MY WIFE's first bike exhibited side-by-side. Cute. What were they you ask?..... A Suzi T200 and a Suzi A100 respectively.

    Hooda,

Nabiac is just north of Forster, probably 280km from Sydney. 3-1/2 hrs. You'd want to leave early for a day trip. We stayed at a caravan park in Forster, but there's lots of other options. Saturday zip up the freeway, spend a couple of hours at the museum, stay overnight and come back Sunday. Good leisurely trip. Unfortunately it rained the weekend we went.
