I hooked up a tach up to mine Stix and had to use the #3 pin. I couldn't get a signal from my spedo.

It's not hard at all to hook up. Only took me 30 minute to hook up the tach and wire it up.

Its an Alloy Art  tacho mount, you can use whatever tacho you want, if you can get the mount, I have been sort of trying for several months without success, Alloy Art wont answer my emails, other outlets listed dont seem to have any either.

I ,ve followed the post ,but am not sure if i need to tap into pin 3 on the ecm connector -as per shared project ,stix & others.
I want to move gauges to the bars rather than the tank.
i have an 07 deuce -& managed to get a sporty speedo /tacho kit 67182-04 which comes with a wiring loom & warning lights and bracket.
For gauges I'm using an 04 up road king tacho & 09 Rocker speedo.-hopefully they're compatible?
Will i fuck anything just hooking up the gauges using the sporty wiring loom-most pins/wires seem in the same place?
It seems even the dressers & fxd dyna's don't seem to use pin 3 as per uncle Ho's wiring diagram for taco yet flst 3 tacho does?
    Any advice appreciated.
    Cheers Wayco
