I weigh around 110kilos and have notice going over a hard bump in the road that the shock just goes through my back!

    1. If i adjust the preload more as if you were to when having a passanger, will this help to dampen the effect?

    2. Changing the shocks to something like bitubo? can i raise and lower the height?

    3. What brands with prices does everyone recommend and why?

    Cheers Midnite

I'm a certified waif around the same specs as you, Midnite ;) I have the same year and model bike. I haven't gotten off with any backpain yet, but I noticed some bumps on roads I know are best avoided for comfort's sake. Wouldn't hurt to play with the preload.

Also as shovelhead recommends - you don't have apies do you? They seem to straighten up your back and allow more jarring.
