I'm wondering if I could get some advise on fuel modules for my 06 Electraglide.

I have SE slip ons and air intake, but the bike is otherwise standard and will stay that way.

Does the Harley/Screamin Eagle download give any advantages over, say a Power Commander or Fuel Shot, such as ignition control?

Will a Power Commander for an 07 Fatboy, #805 510 work on the 06 tourer? I believe there are connector and O2 sensor issues?

not sure if you are referring to a download as a one-off or the SERT unit.

The SERT unit will allow you to adjust a wide variety of parameters.

The power commander will allow you to adjust the timing and fuel.

The FuelShot adjusts Fuel.

the 02 sensors are not really an issue as the PC3 generally comes with 02 eliminators to bypass the closed loop operation.

Really the question is what are you intending to do with your ride?

How are you proposing to tune it? are you expecting to load a canned map and it will be close enough for your purposes or are you plannign on dyno work?

All these areas will help answer the question of what will suit you.

The download I was referring to, is the dealer installed one off download.
What is the SERT all about?
I only want to have my basic changes perform properly, ie: clean throttle response, smooth power and torque delivery, it's a touring bike after all.
Excuse my ignorance, I'm new to Harleys.
