 All this talk about Harley needing to lift their game......don't get me wrong, they could always use improvement but the fact remains that they still outsell all other brands when it comes to road bikes................... from MCNews.......the sales figures for 1st quarter 2011. The percentages are the difference to 1st Q 2010 sales,so yeah!, they are down in sales, but not as much as many others inc. Honda! Don't forget that many of these other brands "road bikes" include smaller capacity ...

 I feel a bit embarrassed that I opened this thread ... on further checking I've found that my regulator is stuffed and is overcharging.  That explains when I hit higher revs, the reg breaks down totally and stops outputting all together giving me that stalling and backfiring . I'm still going to get a TTS and piss off that stupid Fuelpak.  I did find that mode 1 was set wrong at 10 instead of 0.  My baby idles much better now.

Has anyone encountered problems with their new 48? after 202km, my speedo and odometer doesn't work. Needle stuck to 0 and odometer stuck at 202. The automatic signal off also not working. Very disappointed with it. So i got Harley to pick it up from home and send it to Fraser Concord.  Please share your thought....

I Stock  58 mm Inverted Front Ends. I have Sold lots to guys that are Fitting them on to Dyna's, Stock Length Dyna Front Ends a 23" Long, the 58 is 24" and go up in 2" jumps, I have them in 0 or 5 deg . They are Wideglide Spec and use a Pre 99 Front Brake. You also need to use a Internal Fork Stop Kit, Front Ends are on Special this month $1000.00 Fork Stop Kit $95.00

Put my BCT baffles in last night, sound has change quite a bit not so harsh now also popping has gone (:-0) will do the vtunes today and see how I go, also going to try a lower CLB as 720 seems rich to me, to much "soot" in pipes would like to get them more "grayish"

Speaking of seats, I have three, yes three seats. The original which I don't particularly like cause I am also 6'0, and I dont enjoy sitting on the tank and my knees being up against my ears. A Fatboy seat and pillion, which is great around town with the missus, and my favourite, a Heritage seat off a 2000 model which is brilliant... Sit on a Heritage and see what you think, then check out E Bay, there are some bargains.

Thanks for the response enforcer. I'll check it out. For the price, they have US$14995 on the sticker. It has only 9300 (14880 km) miles on it. In Texas, for title, tax and license it will cost about US$1000. Since it's been freezing cold here (under 0 C during the day) i could probably get it for US$15000 out the door. I tried to find some comparitive prices in Oz. But there doesen't seem to be too many of this model.
