    I went primer Grey. Apparently any suggestions on dates is pure speculation at the moment with no official word, but they appear to be educated guesses.

    Just looked at the 2022 line-up again and realised there are no Sportster's showing on the site except for the new Sportster S. So it looks like the end of a era for the mighty Sportster in Australia.

    I am  tempted as well with this model.
    Black or grey though is a horrible choice.
    Wish they had done a burnt orange option, like last years Sport Glide.
    See that the grey option you even have to pay extra bucks for, this is a bit silly.

    Agreed, not my ideal colours, but seeing the Grey in vids sealed it for me. Also the black looks like it'd be a nightmare to keep clean.

    Im not paying extra for the grey colour thankfully. 

    Sold one of my FXRs today (3 hours from posted to sold, which is a record for me) so thats a good chunk of the bike payed for already.

    Yeah black shows the dirt like nothing else.
    Not a great colour if you are the man they could not hang for the dirt around his neck.

    Hey John R and Mr Mow, congrats for pulling the pin on one of these.
    I'd be interested to know if you have bought the bog standard version or have ordered them with decent pipes upgraded cam etc?.
    ^^^And Dicko from the post above^^^, I have had a good go on one of those Sport Glides (2021 model with a stage 4 upgrade) and was mightily impressed with it. If only they had put twin discs on it (it is a SPORT glide) I could have put up with the wheel design.

    Hey mate, its literally just a deposit and a contract that can change. All that extra stuff can be done when it arrives. 

    As for mods, I need to talk to the dealer about warranty n stuff (as someone that's never had warranty).

    Definitely want a pipe/cam/tune, (and bars/risers) but I highly doubt its something HD can supply (APE cam, HPi pipe etc). If I can source it, and they can do it all and keep warranty, Id be stoked with that. No idea how it all works though.

    Have a sneaking suspicion they will let you use srceamin eagle engine upgrades and still honor the warranty, would not think handlebar changes would matter.

    Yeah, any warranty claim has to be relevant or related to the issue. I.e, if i change my discs or calipers and the motor blows up, its not impacted. 

    Im not interested in the SE engine upgrades, and when compared to aftermarket, dont think they even make a good cam for the M8's, which is why I need to have a chat about to dealer about options.

    Hmmmm . yeah , maybe a different wheel???? I dunno , were the brakes that bad???

    Hi Dicko, no, the brakes were quite good. I never had the abs cut in so I did not push them to the limit. It's just that the lowrider has twin discs which is usually better than one.
    As for the wheels, well that is just a matter of taste and there is no accounting for that. They did not bother me with how they looked but they have copped a bit of flak for their design/looks.
