The title says it all.  The guy in the wheelchair pulled out a knife, but seriously cop was behind him.

What a stupid cop!, 9 times in the back when 1 shot in the head would have done the job quicker and used less bullets.

Obviously officer Ryan Remmington is one fucked up cunt.
    Punishment SHOULD fit the crime.

That’s appalling in anyone’s book. Sadly America is so fucked with gun crime and homicide that i feel desensitised to just about any gun crime there making the news. It’s just a fucked place with way too many shootings. Nice place to visit but i wouldn’t want to live there

I think the biggest problem is their culture.  No one respects anyone over there.  This guys crime was to steal a toolbox and he probably had some mental health issues.  Seems like some cops over there just need an excuse to shoot someone.

as our way of life is way less tense, the police in the states can be shot at just for driving through some areas, simple traffic stops are stressful as they don't know what will happen next.
I don't condone these actions (reason for the thread) yet it has become part of the job as FIRST self preservation
Don't come back with "don't do the job" as somebody has to do it or complete anarchy would exist

I would live in certain parts of USA in heartbeat.....others are not even worth a look even if you had a bullet proof car.

Which parts would you live in in a heartbeat Pauly?. The scenery in the western part of the US I found to be awe inspiring but not sure that I would want to live there permanently because of the cold winters and in places like California where the winter is not so bad and the summers are really hot the sea is still arctic in temp. Have not been to the eastern side of the place though.

Loved Sedona, hot summers, snowy winters, Montana for its natural beauty, Aspen again for scenery and all those places for the riding. Big cities just dont do anything for me. Got to head to Miami if your looking for warmer waters...was fun to visit but wouldn't live there.

Not surprised at your answer. We need our cops to be a bit smarter if they are going to have a gun.

Obviously none of us were there at that moment but it was cleared as a " clean shoot". As Clint would say  "I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6"

The police radio operator told them they were dealing with a mental health case from the outset. They appeared to have no plan other than confrontation when they got there.
Say it was your daughter in that situation, and you were controlling the police response, do you think you could have come up with a different approach ? Have a think about it.

My response would remain the same... i asked you what you would have done differently.
By mentioning that the radio operator had informed them of a mental health issue makes that person no less dangerous and potentially a greater danger due to their unpredictable behavior.
Still i am open to hear how you would have done things....
