    Round 2.
Same principles, different way of doing it, different parts and upgrades.

Going together much easier this time.

Is that another fxr or the same one you put together before?

I thought the last one was a ripper as it was

Sounds like a good challenge then. You must love it and you look bloody good at it.

What did you do with the other one?

    The other ones still ripping.

This one will be a bit taller, black drivetrain etc. More of a rider/wheelie bike.

Just waiting on more parts atm, seat, exhaust, bearings, hub spacer etc.

Next issue I need to solve is rear brake master cylinder. I was going to chop the mount off and run a Brembo style rear MC, but they're all too small to properly run a 4pot rear caliper. They're designed around larger two pot calipers, and so are in the 12-13mm range. Stock harley is 3/4 or 19mm..

I think ive got a solution to run the stock MC that involves rotating it 45* but need the exhaust and mount on etc before I can confirm.

Also scored a brand new in packet SS air filter for a hundred bucks. Mikuni manifold is in the post.

Stacks of little stuff done, wheel bearing conversions, spacers, little bits n peices because I just got a little lathe.

Couple more bits and I can strip, powder, paint, get motor done and start putting together.

Super tight fit getting rocker covers off,  but doable.

Pulling down motor before I order cam plates n cam etc. Looking good so far, carbon on top of pistons wipes off, bores have perfect cross hatching, no marks on lifters etc. Will do run out tonight hopefully.

Everything looks perfect in the motor, cross hatching perfect, tensioners have next to no wear, and crank runout (albeit on a shitty setup) looks good to me.

Ordering cam chest gear and cams now.

    Looking very good John.

Do you still have the old cam plate from the motor? PM me if you do , I'm chasing one and a few other TC88 parts.
    Cheers Adam

Hey mate, yeah I do but its probably not worth enough to sell as a spare, you'd want to run Hydro tensioners anyway.

I do have a set of stock cams if theyre worth anything to you?

Barrels are the same as 96in so can be found anywhere, same with 103 barrels which go well with 95in pistons.

After some absolute dramas (2 stripped threads in the case), cams and camplate are in. Waiting on HGs and a couple of other little bits now.
