  Fukin great idea Chester.  Never saw a gadget like that before. It looks like it would cause less damage than the old gas axe.

  I have a couple of gadgets in the shed that I have had to make over the years. If I remember to take a few photos I will post them up here for all you heathens.

  With the custom made wide-spaced handles like that, I'd say it is made for a good rotation & downward force - a reaming tool?

  Good thought WG. Being welded up using a potato really makes it hard to identify.
  

  If it's anything like that gearbox, it could be "meant" to be anything! Just not ever likely to work.
