Black Mirror (Netflix) Oh so disturbing.
Stranger Things (Netflix) 1st to seasons excellent, 3rd one less so. The Fonz is warming up his waterskis.
First 3 seasons of House of Cards(Netflix) - don't bother after Kevin Spacey gets canned, it wanders off into shark jumped land.
UK version of House of Cards. The original and best. Coined the phrase, "You may very well think that, but I couldn't possibly comment" that Malcolm Turnbull once actually used in an interview.
Carnival Row (Amazon). Fairies and stuff. For people who like fantasy and steampunk.
Mindhunter(Netflix). The FBI gets dragged kicking and screaming into 20th century criminology.
The Alienist (Netflix). Victorian psychological crime drama.
The Frankenstein Chronicles (Netflix) Another Victorian psychological crime drama with a sci-fi twist.
Jack Ryan (Amazon). Tom Clancy's character, but I don't think he ever went near the script.
Good Omens (Amazon). Terry Pratchet/Neil Gaimon wrote the book.
Grace and Frankie (Netflix) Some top shelf actors. Hilarious but subject matter may be too confronting for some.

    If you like animated stuff:
Disenchantment (Netflix) by Matt Groenig  -creator of the Simpsons and Futurama. If you liked those then you'll like this. If not, you won't
Rick and Morty (Netflix) Cult following, but not to everyone's taste.

The Witcher. If you have NETFLIXS, watch it, if not, first month is free no contract.
Awesome show but I will add without ruining it is that each episode has different timelines. Work from there and it’s very very good.

Just watched the last of 'The Witcher' series 1, enjoyed each episode as they varied, with the main theme still prominent.
Waiting for Season 2 of  'His dark Materials' , excellent graphics .
The only viewing for us at the  moment, we get lost for a couple of hours with the box, everything else downloaded is too depressing!

With lots of us in lockdown, getting into a good series is relevant.

I took the plunge on advice from here and also mates and watched Mr Inbetween. So good I binged watched all three seasons in no time. Bit disappointing he’s not making a season 4.

Do what ever you have to do to get "Breaking Bad"
I'm both horrified and fascinated by the series. Just started season 5.

I'm both horrified and fascinated by the series. Just started season 5.

It picked up after the first series-way too many breakfast table scenes. After you finish it, "Better Call Saul" is the prequel series once again written by Vince Gilligan about the Lawyer of the series "Saul Goodman."

Problem with recommending a show just watched, is you can be stereotyping your self
Yellowstone is one of the best shows I have seen
Busting for next season next month

I’ve just finished watching the third Jack Irish movie and about to start watching the TV series. Australian made and Guy Pearce is the lead actor with lots of other great and well known Australian actors. I think they all aired on ABC and might even be on ABC Iview but I’m watching it on Netflix. He plays a lawyer turned private investigator and it’s not bad. I like Australian stuff
