Dear Mon. Friends of mine have the Road Glide CVO. They use 2 freewires and bluetooth headsets. I understand they work a treat.
What type of plug do you have from your headset to the helmet bluetooth module. I made an adapter cable so I could use the bluetooth direct to the phone on one bike, and take advantage of the boombox on the tourer. Can you post a pic. (that's if you are interested in considering a wired option)

Sorry Mon. Misunderstood. You already have the freewire. As I understand it, you will be looking to pair the headset to the freewire (not the boombox), and
Pair the phone to the boombox. I may stand corrected as I dont have one but
    Have a look at this

At the risk of dragging the thread out. It appears your headset is OK (Link)
Can you get music through the headset? If so, good start.
I've pretty well ditched the voice activation side of it. It has worked but there's a lot of delay (even wired) I just toggle through the screens to find the number I want to dial or answer. Check for white dot on headset mic is facing your mouth. Latest update is supposed to allow siri activation.

Well done. Use handlebar controls when prompted. Have a friend standing by to call you and you ring them back. Cycle to Com / telephone / calls for quite an easy way to ring regulars. Its a great set up I think. Like I said, haven't had a lot of luck with voice controls yet or intercom
