You now sit in the bike instead of leaning over it. Great feel and ride. A lot more relaxing to ride and just below shoulder height. |

nice i am looking at puttingan ape h/bar on my rocker, i didnt realy like them my mate has a biger set on a fatboy and i thought looking at him it'd be over the top .
but when i sat on his bike ...it was so cumfy.
i suffer from ducks disiese and have to lean forward , but will thes 12 inch apes help this at all, keeping them strait with the front forks ......pat????? |

Mate you are looking at about an inch back. But remember you can adjust bars to suit. I chose to have bars line up with front forks and I am very happy with ride. There is a downfall to apes and that is I find that you do lose handling ability. But you do get used it. There is a little bit of flex in the bars but if I changed the tripple tree rubbers to the plastic type, this would eliminate the flex. |
